WINTERFEST  2016

Saturday, Dec. 3 rd

Ellington Congregational Church

Come Join the Celebration!

2:30-3:30p.m. Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Ellington Congregational Church invites everyone who loves to sing, to our 6 th Annual Christmas Carol Sing led by Denise Richards, Nora Chapman and friends. Join us in the Sanctuary for a joyful hour of singing Christmas Carols, woven with the beloved Christmas story, in the spirit of the season at this year's Winterfest celebration. This is a free event, open to everyone.

4:00-6:30p.m. Winterfest Café!  Our Dinner Committee will be offering a “family-friendly” menu , with continuous seating in the Social Room

4:55p.m. Church Bells – Listen for the sound of our church bells along with St. Luke’s as we celebrate.

There are many other events throughout the day as part of the whole town Winterfest Celebration, including a Tree-Lighting Ceremony; Ellington Singers; Open House at the Nellie McKnight House; Festival of Trees; appearances by Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman and a Torchlight Parade that you don’t want to miss. Join the Fun!

Sunday School Registration

If you haven’t already completed a registration form for this year, please do so and return it to any classroom teacher, the church office or Lisa Crocker.  All children in Preschool - Grade 9 need to be registered please.  Forms are located in the downstairs education wing on the table in the hallway.  If you would like one mailed or emailed to you, please call the church office.  Thank you!

Cradle Roll is available during the 10:30 am Service when Sunday School is in session. Cradle Roll will not be available on All Church Worship Sundays.
