Meeting: November 3, 2009

1. Meeting called to order at 7:00.
2. Lucie opened with prayer.
3. October minutes were reviewed and accepted, with correction to item 3: Sep, not June.
4. Reports:
4.1 Prudential- Leslie
The concert was appraised. Although it was a financial loss of about $800, a significant portion of that was due to a one-time investment in a credit-card machine. The machine is planned to be used at the Farmhouse Fair. Future concerts will need additional thought on strategies to reduce cost and manage revenue.
Leslie also attended the new member meeting, are reported a very enjoyable experience. Twenty-four people attended, although not all are to be new members.
ECC budget is about $3,000 under budget so far this year.
4.2 Sunday School - Lisa
Nursery has had very low attendance.
Bible Breakfast is scheduled for November 15. Food item responsibilities and setup were discussed and assigned.
The Sunday School curriculum sub-committee will meet November 18, 6 PM at Gary’s home.
4.3 Confirmation -
No report.
4.4 Jr. High Fellowship - Lucie
Corn Maze activity was a lot of fun. Eleven children participated, including three not from ECC. Pizza & Raking activities planned for November.
Some thinking is being done about a Game Night.
4.5 TELOS:
Kids Night Out! was a great success. 48 children participated. There are tentative plans for two more KNOs in December.
4.6 Coffee Hour
BCE is responsible for December:

·Dec 27: Lucie & Pam
5. Advent Ideas
Advent Supper is December 6. Some ideas were discussed about caroling books.
