Dear Women of ECC,

We are very hopeful that there will be changes and more activity at church as the covid numbers are trending downward (as of this writing, February 13, 2022).

There are two pamphlets from the federal government available on the table outside of the church office about protecting your identity and cyber theft.  Please feel free to take one of each.  We had a presentation in the fall about ways to help protect yourself from cyber theft, and the printed materials help support the presentation information.

The applications for the two $500 scholarships offered each year by Women’s Fellowship for higher education are due in the church office by May 1, 2022.  Please plan accordingly.  Late applications will not be accepted.  Please click here for the application requirements.

We are ramping up plans for the 2022 Farmhouse Fair, which will be our 60th Annual Farmhouse Fair.  Watch for upcoming workshops and meetings.  We are prayerful that we will be indoors in 2022 and will be offering a full luncheon this year.  If you would like to get involved, or if you have a craft that you would like to share to help our Fair, please see Penny Gates.

We also ask that you consider prayerfully if a leadership role in Women’s Fellowship is something that you would be willing and able to do.   There are other roles available now on the Women’s Fellowship Executive Board, such as Women’s Fellowship Program Chair.  If you have interest in a leadership role, please see Penny Gates.

Our next Women’s Fellowship Executive Board Meeting is Friday, April 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. on Zoom.

Looking ahead, we have a few save-the-dates to put on your calendar.  April 23 is the celebration of Earth Day.  The Ellington Women’s Club is holding another Fair on the Green on May 7, 2022.
