Open and Affirming – Coming Events

On April 26, please come to the Social Room after worship service and hear about how Jesus speaks of God’s “extravagant welcome.”

There are Scriptural passages in the Bible where Jesus calls for a generous, selfless, and radical welcome for every person. These passages are found in Matthew, Luke, Romans, and Hebrews. They reflect God’s own inclusive love and call upon us, as Christians, to behave in God’s image through the example Christ Jesus taught. God asks us to move beyond politeness and embrace sincere and active care for those who are oppressed, left in the margins, and often despised. Let us review again how God calls upon us to live into the phrase: “All Are Welcome Here.”
